Control Pro – Desktop Remote
We're happy to help with Control Pro — setup, pairing, screen mirroring, or anything else.
Control Pro needs its free companion app running on the Mac you want to control.
Download Control Pro Host for macOSUniversal disk image · requires macOS 15 or newer · signed and notarized by Apple.
Make sure both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi network, the host app is running on your computer, and the app has Local Network permission (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network). Some guest or corporate networks block device-to-device discovery.
Screen Recording is required to mirror your computer's display to your iOS device. Accessibility is required to move the mouse and type on your computer from your device. Both are used for nothing else, and nothing is ever sent off your network.
Yes. Every connection is encrypted with TLS, and a one-time pairing code shown on your computer is required before a device can connect. See the Privacy Policy.
No — by design. Control Pro is local-network only, which keeps latency low and your data private. Nothing is routed through any cloud server.
Use 5 GHz Wi‑Fi (or better, put the computer on Ethernet), keep both devices close to the router, and check the color-coded latency badge in the app. The stream automatically adapts quality and drops stale frames to stay live.
Audio streams automatically alongside the mirror. Use the speaker button in the mirror toolbar to mute or unmute it.
It's optional and off by default. When enabled, clipboard text is shared between your devices over the same encrypted local connection — never through any server.
An iPhone or iPad on the same network as your computer, and the free companion host app installed on the computer you want to control.
