1. Summary

Control Pro – Desktop Remote turns your iPhone or iPad into a wireless trackpad, keyboard, and live screen mirror for your own computer. It is designed so that your data never leaves your home or office network. We collect nothing.

This policy covers the iOS and iPadOS app. The Mac companion app has its own policy: Control Pro Host for Mac.

2. What we collect

Nothing. Control Pro collects no personal information, no analytics, no usage data, and no identifiers. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no third-party SDKs.

3. How the app works with your data

• The iOS app and the companion desktop host app talk directly to each other over your local network. Screen video, audio, keyboard input, pointer input, and optional clipboard text travel only between your own devices.
• All connections are encrypted with TLS. Pairing requires a one-time code shown on your computer.
• Nothing is sent to us or to any third party. We operate no servers, and the apps make no internet connections.
• Optional clipboard sync is off by default and only shares clipboard text between your own devices while enabled.

4. Permissions we request

• Local network (iOS and desktop host) — used solely to discover and connect to your own computer.
• Screen recording (desktop host) — used solely to mirror your computer's screen to your iOS device.
• Accessibility (desktop host) — used solely to move the mouse and type on your computer when you control it from your iOS device.

5. What is stored on your device

Control Pro keeps a small amount of data locally so you do not have to re-pair constantly. None of it leaves your device:

• A resume token in the device Keychain, so your computer can be reconnected without a code for 24 hours.
• The fingerprint of your computer's certificate, so the app can confirm it is connecting to the same machine it originally paired with and warn you if that ever changes.
• An identifier for this device, used only so your computer can recognise it between connections.
• Your own preferences, such as the haptics and clipboard sync toggles.

Use Forget Saved Trust — long-press your computer in the device list — to clear the token and the saved fingerprint at any time.

6. What we do not do

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data.
• We do not use analytics or tracking of any kind.
• We do not show advertising in the app.
• We do not record your screen or save any part of the stream.
• We do not operate any cloud servers — your screen and input never leave your network.

7. Children

Control Pro collects no data from anyone, including children.

8. Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new "Last updated" date.
