Yes. The iPhone takes the photos, and 3D Capture Pro Studio builds the model on your own computer. Studio tells you if your Mac cannot build 3D models.
Check that both are on the same Wi-Fi, that Studio is open, and that Local Network is allowed for 3D Capture Pro in iPhone Settings. Hotel, school and guest Wi-Fi often block devices from seeing each other; try your home Wi-Fi or a phone hotspot. Scanning the QR code also works when the list stays empty.
That happens the first time you pair by typing the code. Studio shows the same fingerprint under its pairing code. If they match, tap It Matches. If they do not, tap It Doesn't Match and scan the QR code instead. It protects you from another computer on the same Wi-Fi.
Use the code that Studio shows right now. If you made a new code in Studio, enter the new one.
On, the model shows just the object you captured and removes the floor and background. Off, the model shows everything the photos saw.
It builds another model from the same photos, for example with a different quality. The earlier models stay on your iPhone.
Usually a few minutes. It depends on the number of photos, the quality you choose and your Mac.
On your iPhone, inside the app, and in the Files app under 3D Capture Pro. Captures you send to Studio are also kept on your Mac, and your device backups can include your captures. See the Privacy Policy.
Open the capture and delete it inside the app. Deleting the app removes everything. In Studio, delete the job to remove its copy on your Mac.
